I can see the problem, but its really hard to tell by only seeing it.

    2 questions:

    1. Are you facing issue with only these 4 auctions? If yes, then lets say you “end aution” from admin dashboard -> ultimate auction ->manage auction -> live auctions-> end auction….and add new ones then do you get same problem? I’m trying to see if that is it reproducible & whether you have a workaround.

For further debugging, I would require your admin credentials since I could not reproduce same behavior on my side. For confidentiality you can use my contact form to pass on credentials: https://auctionplugin.net/contact

    2. I also notice that you are not using “incremental value” when adding auction. If your intention is to sell a fixed price product then just enter “buy now” field while adding auction & you’ll have fixed price value & no biding. If you are looking for bids then do enter incremental value otherwise your bids wont increase by default.

    Hi Nitesh,
I have just gone on the auction website and the problem regarding the bids is still there. Were you not able to find a solution?

    Hi,

I fixed it. I tested Promises #22 #10, kindly test remaining 2 auctions.

The issue was that you had some “square box” as text inside auction title or description. I removed them & its working fine. If you have similar error in future, then visit the auction page & see for “square box” as text.

One request, would you take some time & rate my plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/support/view/plugin-reviews/ultimate-auction

    Cheers,
    Nitesh

    Hi Nitesh,

I deleted auction number 4 and put it up again as number 37. Once again it does not work. I do not understand what you mean by “square box”. When I go into the auction title or description I do not see any square boxes. Can you please rectify this?
    Thanks,

    Its working now.
    Here is the trick.

When you get this error, do below:

    1. Open notepad
    2. Copy your title & description on notepad.
    3. Look for small “square boxes” inside notepad. Look carefully, you’ll definitely find one. NOTE: It is not visible on auction page sometimes.

    One thing more:
    1. If you want “new line” between text then use
    inside description field.

I hope u have not forgot to review my plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/support/view/plugin-reviews/ultimate-auction

    Hi Nitesh,

I too would like to use the old version that lets anybody from outside place a bid. We’re running a school alumni site and will keep the auction open only for a few days so that anybody from the alumni can place a bid without logging in. Please provide this version to me. I understand there is no support on this version which is ok by me.

    Thanks

Great job Nitesh and thank you. Just what I needed.

One typo that needs correction – Under the price, “Reserve price has met” statement needs to be corrected to “Reserve price has been met” Could you correct this now? Don’t want my readers to see this language error…..

    Hi Ashok,

I knew there will be support/queries but this one is easy. Hence taking it.

Built it again, available at same place.
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/view/plugin-reviews/ultimate-auction

You should first uninstall, delete old version and then install the new download. Previous data will be retained.

    Nitesh,

Please change the language of “Reserve price has met” to “Reserve price has been met” The word “BEEN” is missing. Incorrectness can put our bidders off.

    Thanks for your help.

    Ashok

I probably missed the answer to this but…

I have people registering to bid but are unable to actually make bids. Please give me ideas on what I have missed.
    Thank you.
    Rob
