Bidirectional Relationship with member/order

    Great plugin but fairly new to pods. I am creating an ACT Pod which I want to relate back to PMPRO member and/or Order. Basically I want to ensure the Pod data is tied to an order for billing integrity.

    I can only extend a PMPro order and relate it to by ACT Pod but I can’t create the relationship back.

    When you say you can’t create the relationship back, would you mind elaborating on this?

    You can add fields to the Add/Edit Orders page in PMPro however it is worth nothing that PMPro 3.0 stores billing information on an order now and not with user meta.

    So I have a PMPro Member and an Order. As part of their membership I need to allocate a Storage Location which is my Advanced Content Type. I can add the storage location as a relationship on the PMPro Member and/or the PMPro Order.

    However, I wanted to be able to create the bidirectional relationship back. So when I view/edit the Storage Location I can view/edit the associated PMPro Member/Order. When I edit the Storage Location pod to create a relationship back to PMPro the only Relationship I can see is for the PMPRo Membership Level and not the Member or Order.

    Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately this isn’t possible with the current functionality. While we might explore implementing this we don’t have an ETA as to when this could be done.

    If this functionality is urgently required I would recommend exploring a custom developed solution – please consider posting a project on https://jobs.wordpress.net if you decide to go this route or reach out to a developer in your area.

    Thanks Jarryd. No need for a customer solution form this end, but adding that bidirectional relationship seems like a logical extension given it exists for other pod types. Mark
