Big error log file! (21GB)

    the email before download plugin creates some big Error log files, is there a possibility to stop creating these files?

  • It doesn’t create any error log files. If you have WP_DEBUG turned on (and configured to go to a file) then it will log messages — notices, warnings, and errors. That could be what you’re seeing.

    It might also happen if you have php.ini configured to log all that stuff to a file.

    21GB sounds like an awful big file though. Exactly what file are you talking about (what is the name & location of said file)? Did you look in it to see what kinds of errors are in there?
