Big issue with uncomposed animation pagespeed

  • Hi,

    I experienced a big issue with all pages / posts on my website and I don’t understand why.

    On every page/post I have the issue “avoid uncomposed animation” on pagespeed. I know what is an animation ok but I really don’t know why I have this on simple post without any animation ? For example I have 71 animation reported for this simple text post : https://polyvalents.fr/afrique-programmes-culture-de-rente/

    I have common tag like this x71 :

    Propriété CSS incompatible : color

    Propriété CSS incompatible?: letter-spacing

    Propriété CSS incompatible?: font-weight

    Propriété CSS incompatible : font-size

    For others post it’s like 150+ but I don’t understand why because I don’t have animation. I’m noobie on css/IT and I suspected a code in my website which make “animation” in parallel (maybe ?)

  • Unfortunately, the URL you mentioned is not accessible at all. I would like to take a look at it. However, the errors indicated are probably due to incorrectly written CSS property values.

    Yet I can open the url into my browser ?? But yes in PageSpeed it’s not accessible, it’s strange… Do you know how to resolve this property values with a CSS script / function to put into my theme (Astra) ?

    Now, strangly enough, I can open the URL. Apparently your hosting has an accessibility problem. If you notice this more often (e.g. also via PageSpeed), I would recommend contacting the support of your hoster.

    When loading the page I see some typos in the CSS. Since you’re using Litespeed, which optimizes the output, I don’t see the origin of these problems. I would therefore recommend 2 things:
    a) Disable Litespeed and see if the messages in PageSpeed are no longer there (others should appear for that, but that’s not the point for now). If they are no longer there, Litespeed would be the cause of the typos and you would have to contact their support.
    b) If the styling can be traced back to the Astra theme as the cause, it is best to contact their support: https://wpastra.com/support/open-a-ticket/
