Big Play button

I want to eliminate the Big Play button and the gray overlay on a video. These only display in Firefox, so I prefer to just do without and use the poster image to instruct users.

I’ve tried to edit the CSS in every file I can think of, but I can’t seem to make it work. For the play button I’m using:

‘.vjs-default-skin .vjs-big-play-button {display:none!important;}’

I’m not sure on the gray overlay.
