As you may know WordPress 3.9 was released yesterday. Our plugin had a compatibility issue with this new version so we have released a big update (v1.3) and it is now compatible with WordPress 3.9. Here is what you need to do:

    • Install/Update the latest version of WordPress. (Please note: Our plugin is only compatible with the latest version of WordPress at all times)
    • Install/Update the Easy Google Fonts Plugin to the latest version (v1.3 at the time of writing this post)

You won’t lose any data from the upgrade, all of your custom font controls and settings will still be there when you upgrade to the new version. As always, if you have any issues just give me a shout in the support forum and we can take it from there.

  • I upgraded to wp 3.9 today and also downloaded easy google fonts. Yes, I watched the video.
I have my page set to “no slider”and “no featured pages” for now because I don’t want to wait to publish until I get all the pictures sized properly and the slider moved to the bottom of the page.

When I go to settings>google fonts in the WP Dashboard, I get the menu to create your own control fonts. When I click on “Customiz it” I see my page with THEIR slider at the top and 3 blank spaces for featured pages before most of my home page appears. I can’t put that on the web.
I was able to make changes to the fonts and colors in Customizr but can’t preview them in regular WP. And (related?) I could not create menus with my pages until I “published” from WP. Now I can’t preview changes to the pages — is that because they are “published”?
Here is the link to the Customizr page:
    Thank you for any help.

    Hi acerem5,
This sounds like a theme issue to me. Have you tried checking to see if our plugin works with one of the default WordPress themes? Please start a new thread in the support forum if you are still experiencing problems. Thanks
