Yes! Me too. I normally use 1920px for sliders, backgrounds and other full-screen elements, and I’m probably being very conservative, as screens keep getting bigger and bigger.

Add +1 for me. I too use 1920px for many headers (and 2000px wide for a few). Even if not every image is grabbed at this size, having the option of doing it sometimes would be super helpful.
