Bilingual static and blog pages

Has anyone been able to setup a ‘blog’ menu item that displays blog posts by language?

You just have to translate your static front page and your blog page. You’ll see them marked as “Front page” and “Posts page” in the pages list table, just as the original static front page and your blog page. See https://polylang.pro/doc/is-it-possible-to-use-a-static-front-page/

Many thanks. It works once you have a version blog and front page in each language.

P.S. Also, I compared polylang with other solutions and it is (now that this problem is solved in particular) the best solution because you have the flexibility NOT to translate pages too, so you can create 2 sites in one, and pages themselves are not changed or tags added to the pages which keeps them clean. Also it is easy to see which pages are translated or not.

I have applied your advises to implement Polylang on my customer site. It still doesn’t work for the blog.

1) You will see that the langage switcher works with the home page. When you click US flag, it redirects you to the US home page. You can check on : https://cecile-chancerel-bijoux.com/wp/

2) Now I do have 2 different URLs for the FR and US blogs. You can switch between them with the langage switcher flags :
FR : https://cecile-chancerel-bijoux.com/wp/blog/
US : https://cecile-chancerel-bijoux.com/wp/blog-en/
But they both displays the FR and the US posts. Obviously I already set the language for these 2 posts. Check the screenshot here :

I want the US blog to display the posts in English only and the FR blog to display the posts win French only. How can I achieve this ?
