Billing Address is filled in by Shipping Address at Paypal Checkout

    Hi,

    I’m having trouble with the Paypal Checkout gateway. I have the Paypal Checkout enabled in WooCommerce. On the Checkout page I have it set to ask for a Billing Address and a Shipping Address (if they are different).

    And then when the Paypal button is clicked and the Paypal window appears so that the customer can pay by the chosen credit or debit card, the billing address has been filled out by the shipping address.

    If the customer doesn’t notice this then we are sent the shipping address as the billing address and if the customer does notice then they need to fill in their billing details twice.

    Does anyone know how I can fix this?

  • Check your Woo-settings:

    Go to WooCommerce/Settings/Shipping tab —
    Choose “Shipping Options” and review the “Shipping Destination”
    Choose the radio button for: “Default to customer billing address”

    Apologies, I didn’t understand the options and what corresponded with what.

    It now works as expected at checkout.
