Billing And Shipping table borders
-
Can we not change the borders of the Billing and Shipping fields? Or add custom CSS to deal with it if not?
-
Oh, i see the custom css section. Not sure if i can fix it but will try.
At this time you can use Custom CSS. And we will add border color option in next update ??
Best regrads,
YayCommerce1. Yeah i see the custom CSS option but none of the normal selectors seem to change anything, and i’m not sure how that would translate to the final email anyway as some providers only allow inline css. I do see a way to do it using the shortcode builder, so that could work, even if very tedious.
But you think you will be adding the ability to adjust those borders?
2. Also, being a bit picky… When i enable product photos it puts them above the text instead of to the left of it.
3. And the padding and spacing within the product listing section for text is a bit wonky. Would be great be able to adjust the spacing and text alignment and size within the tables, unless you can tell me what CSS selectors will allow for that as well.
Thanks!
GlenHi Glen,
Let me answer your questions:
1. We have been released YayMail 1.6 version, it has border color use option, so you don’t need to use custom CSS.
2. Sure, we will add an align option for the product image.
3. Can you give me a screenshot of this issue?
Best regards,
TommyLooks like you made all of the changes!
So you know if you set the image to the left it does skew it. That might not be great. Bottom and top work great.
Glad to be able to remove (edit the color) the borders on the address fields now. Much cleaner looking!
You all are very responsive to good changes, so thank you!
Glen
Hi Glen,
Glad to know it useful for you ??
Can you give me a screeshot of your product image issue?
Here is my product image align left: https://tppr.me/IEkdGTommy
Tommy,
Here are the images below and to the left. The ones below are showing correctly for reference.
https://www.bassboss.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Image-Below.jpg
https://www.bassboss.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Image-Left.jpgI make all product images square because of issues with display in WordPress and to create the right spacing. For some reason these are getting squeezed horizontally.
Also, is it possible to toggle off the product sku?
It would also be cool to be able to control the color of the social icons as well ??
Glen
mm can you try to adjust product image height? See this screenshot https://tppr.me/ERzTP
For turn on/off SKU, you can see that option in the screenshot above too.
For social icon color, the first time we did it by use SVG image, but many browsers don’t support it, so we changed to PNG images. Anyway, we will research more about it.
Tommy
Interesting… If i turn off the sku showing the images don’t stretch. Otherwise i did have them set to equal values as the images are all square. Something to check on your side maybe? Works for now!
Ahh, yeah SVGs aren’t always well behaved. Actually the problem there would probably be the email client. Hmm… Another option could be to let the user upload their own social icons as jpg or png? You could keep the current easy mode and have the upload for people who already create theirs to match their marketing and theme.
Just throwing it out there, what you have is nice as well!
thanks,
GlenIt work as well for me https://tppr.me/JUYfB
Or you can try to increase container width to make it look better https://tppr.me/Ks9Nq
About social icon, thanks for your suggest, we will consider ??
Currently you can add custom social images by use Text Element with table. Example: https://tppr.me/Lvus and settings something like this https://tppr.me/OtgSKTommy
Increasing the container isn’t needed on the desktop version once i remove the sku, however when viewing on mobile test, and when sending a test email. It really smashes them!
https://www.bassboss.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Bottom.png
https://www.bassboss.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Left.png
Would there be a way to specify to use on the left side for desktop and bottom or top for mobile? It feel like a heavy compromise to not be able to use the left option because of mobile.
Thanks,
Glen
