Hi, can you check if you have any JavaScript errors on your site? The validtion is done via JavaScript and general JS error can break this functionality as well as a bunch of other functionality requiring JavaScript.

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:
    ?

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    Hello,

Thanks for your feedback. I forgot to mention that I use the multistore woocommerce checkout plugin. And so we are on the payment page. The url does not change. I think that’s why we can skip the steps and get to the payment, it says that the fields are empty … How to stay on the billing address step?

    Thanks

Your issue is probably then with the multistore woocommerce checkout plugin, we do not support 3rd party plugins so you will have to contact the developers of that plugin for assistance.

As mentioned in my last comment, you can test the conflict by following the steps I outlined there.

When I test this with just WooCommerce and a default theme like Storefront or Twentyseventeen the validation works as it should.
