billing phone can’t be removed

    Hi
    I can’t hide or remove phone billing filed. After hide it, show me the error please insert a valid phone number.

    What should i do?

    I understand you would like to hide the telephone number field from the checkout page.

    May I ask how are you disabling the telephone number? Via plugin? Via custom code?

    You can do it, for example, using this plugin:
    https://woocommerce.com/document/checkout-field-editor/

    Or you can use custom code as explained in this tutorial.

    Is possible the telephone field is hidden but requested by another plugin, if it is the case you can temporarily switch your theme to Storefront then disable all plugins except WooCommerce, create a test order and check again to see if the error persists.
