    Hello,

I’m using description snippets for my pages and I can see them in results from Google but Bing shows something different for my homepage. Although this description is part of my site, I really cannot find where it comes from as it doesn’t belong to my homepage nor the related snippet.

I now want to edit it but cannot find where…
I’m using Bing’s Webmaster Tools but didn’t find any place in there where this text would appear.

Is this something we are supposed to be able to control or is Bing deciding by itself what to pick up from a site?

    Thanks!

Search engines are known to adjust snippets when they deem some else is better. To see the meta title and description without search term manipulation, use the site search operator followed immediately by the URL of your site.
