Binned a page/section but it still seems to be online

  • Hi there,

    I binned the ‘project’ page/section in my homepage but for some reason this section still appears online (the lemons in squares). I’ve cleared my caché so it’s nothing to do with that. I’ve tried editing and deleting this section again through the customiser and also the home page option but nothing seems to work. Very grateful for any advice. Thanks in advance.

    Hi @katherinemasters

    It looks as though that page/panel may still be getting pulled through even though the page is trashed. There’s two things I can think to try.

    1. Could you please go to Pages and then view the ‘Trashed’ pages. You should be able to clear any pages from that view to make sure they are entirely removed.
    2. Could you please go to the Customizer (Appearance > Customize) and change the settings from the home page – you should be able to de-select that page for Section 2, and select another one instead.

    Wow, thanks so much. I did option number one you mentioned. Didn’t realise before that there was a second binned section to permanently delete. Thanks! Worked a charm.
