    Hi,

    I see currently it’s only possible to activate biometric 2fa for users via wp-admin, and users themselves need to go to wp dashboard to enable it… It’s not how I would like it to be on my site, do you plan to have it working on front end of the site automatically? Once biometric 2fa activated, to ask users to register devices on front end of the site..?

    I hope you’re well today!

    This is the first iteration of this kind of authentication in Defender and there are plans for further development and improvements.

    One of those is to make it possible to the users to setup their 2FA (whatever methods are enabled by site admin) on front-end in future.

    I don’t have ETA and I can’t predict how soon this may be done but at least I can say that it is something that we already plan to add.
