Birthdate field exact configuration

Hi!
There is a field BIRTHDATE that I need to use.
The problem is that it seems to not work right.
1) If I put “-85y” in the Data min it displays a list of years from 2009 to 2029. Then if I also put “0” to Data Max it shows 2004-2014.
2) If I put “-1d2m40y” in the Data min it displays a list of years from 2054 to 2064.

It seems that the list won’t display more than maybe 20 items and those fields are not doing what they are told.

Can you please give the right settings for a birthdate field that shows all the years needed in the dropdown? Or another elegant solution. Maybe with a screenshot.
