Birthday Calendar/Event Calendar?

I’m looking for our family homepage – which is based on WP – for a birthday calendar / event calendar. Should be able to announce or show recurring events, as birthdays, maybe in the standard calendar or on extra category. There is one announced at https://www.revolutionx.net/blogs/devblog/ but the page loads with an database error.Any ideas? And thanks!
