I am trying to do a local install of WordPress Multisite on my Apple OS X 10.9.5 via Bitnami

Maybe I missed something? I can’t access the admin panel.

During installation, when I was prompted for a hostname I used

    localhost

    . When I was prompted for a port I used 3307

I can open the manager-osx no problem. All there servers start no problem.

    When I click on

    Go to Application

in manager-osx it directs me to a default generic “Hello World!” WordPress landing page. Not a login screen.

I navigate to Applications/wordpress-4.0-0/use_wordpress Unix Executable File and it opens my terminal. Is this normal?

If I type in the url in my browser 127.0.0.1:3307 (I installed this using MySql Server Port 3307) I get a blank screen.

When I am in the Terminal Host Database I can see 127.0.0.1 localhost

In advance, I am grateful for your help. It is appreciated.

  • in manager-osx it directs me to a default generic “Hello World!” WordPress landing page.

That is the “front end” of the local site, so you know that the install went fine ??

To access the login, add /wp-admin after what appears in the address bar at that point, or click the Site Admin link under Meta in the left sidebar (default 2014 theme).
