Bizarre looping

Im getting a bizarre bug after upgrade to 2.5.1. Upon visit to post-new.php in the admin, I see the save and publish buttons flashing endlessly- safari’s activity shows admin-ajax.php loading repeatedly without end… Anyone else having this problem?
