Black Friday ads annoying

  • <p>I rarely review plugin on .org. But I just notice the big animation ads on the dashboard of one of our websites. And the close button is tiny. That’s really annoying and I hope it never come back again.</p>

    <p>I got a bad communication with the team at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/please-remove-css-on-other-admin-pages/, where they should track the bug and fix it. Instead, they told me to post from Twitter to org and then Github.</p>

    Thanks for your comment.

    We understand that the Black Friday banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy so we listened to our community and yesterday we publicly apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused to our users (link to Twitter) and released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.
