Black stripe under responsive slider

Dear all,

I have created a simple slider of 3 images, all with the same size, 315px.
It looks great on the desktop, but when I resize the window (or check on my mobile), there is a high black stripe under the slider.

I have checked height settings and responsive settings (-> auto).
Nothing helped.

Any idea what might cause the issue?
