Blackbird Latest Update Lost Homepage

    Hi Support:

    Please help me fix my broken site. I updated the (free) Blackbird theme to the latest Version 1.2.1 a few days ago; and the homepage including the big image slider as well as all the circles and information has disappeared. Instead, the blog posts appear on the homepage.

    Really looking forward to some help.

    When I click on the link you posted here, my MAC downloaded a folder name blackbird. It is not a zip file. So when I try to upload, I am not able to upload the folder. I also don’t think that uploading any of the single file in the folder will work.

    If a folder is downloaded, simply convert it to zip and upload it the zip file on WordPress (Themes -> Add new (from computer)).

    YESS.. it worked my friend !!! Now that I got it back, is there a way for me to back it up or protect it from future issues (sorry about all the questions, but I have very little technical knowledge with WordPress and website in general).

    Just don’t update it again.
