i am trying to create a child for blackbird as i hv messed it up. how do i do this? OR HOW DO I RESTORE OR REINSTALL IT? MARGO77

do i need a FTP if I want to create a Child Theme for my Blackbird? I just deleted everything and hv fresh copy. i am on a WAMP localhost Server. How do I make a child theme for my Blackbird Theme?

If you are on local host, no you do not need FTP – just copy the child theme folder to your themes folder.

If you have messed up the theme, just delete the theme and then reinstall it. Making a child theme will not fix a messed up theme.
