blacklist help

    For some reason, when I try to search inside of blacklist, I get the following errros.
    Warning: Unknown modifier ‘v’ in /home/virtual/site29/fst/var/www/html/wp-admin/wpblsearch.php on line 253
    Warning: Unknown modifier ‘v’ in /home/virtual/site29/fst/var/www/html/wp-admin/wpblsearch.php on line 257
    Warning: Unknown modifier ‘/’ in /home/virtual/site29/fst/var/www/html/wp-admin/wpblsearch.php on line 261
    and it just goes on and on like that.
    anyoe know how i can fix this?

  • Check you’ve no blank lines or whitespace in your spam words list.
    That’s usually the cause.

    hmm, how can I check if I”m importing the list off of Jay Allen?

    Can you copy and paste it into NotePad ?
    I don’t use Blacklist so I’m unfamiliar with how it does this.

    heh actually i went into the php file itself and saw that there was an extra enter after the wpblsearch file. removed that and everything was good to go. Thanks Podz!

    weird… that extra spapce fixed up the blacklist and ip search, but the search for expression still gets the same errors…
