Blacklist is not working

    Hi
    I’ve enabled “IP or User Agent Blacklisting”
    Here is part of “.htaccess” file related to it.

    Besides , I do not enable blocking access to XMLRPC and Pingback in All In One Security & Firewall .
    Because my website is hosted in CLOUDWAYS , and there is a function that can block accessing to “XMLRPC ACCESS”.

    But now , an IP 104.192.2.126 which I have added to blacklist tried to access and cause so much error responds and a lot of CPU usage.

    Why does that happen since I have added that IP to blacklist?

    And should I enable blocking access to XMLRPC and Pingback both in CLOUDWAYS and All In One Security & Firewall at the same time?

    I would first enable pingback protection in AIOWPS plugin before going any further with the troubleshooting.

    Then carry out a test to make sure it is working.
