blacklist/comment moderation not working

I have blacklist installed, and I have comment moderation set to when there are 2 or more links. But for some reason, the past few days, I’ve been getting comment spam for video poker. The ip is changing, but the actual comments themselves aren’t. How come blacklist or comment moderation aren’t picking this up? Is there anything else I can do to prevent getting anymore spam?
