blank admin page after php upgrade

  • Hi,
    i had to restore old wordpress backup files into my server from the back up that was taken in 2012 after restoring the files, the wordpress site is working ok but the admin panel of wordpress shows blank screen after i login into wordpress. only the left side vertical sidebar is showing, i have already tried the following

    1) renaming the plugin folders
    2) renaming the theme folders
    3) increasing the memory from wp-config

    the only change could be the change in the version of php from 5.3 to 5.6

    plzz recommend

    Is the Site Address of the backup set to the same location of where the files are located now?

    E.g. Did you take your backup when it was hosted at site1.com. But you’ve restored the backup at site2.com.

    Yes the site address is same upto the extent of the directory structure IE. Same directory same domain

    You have any errorlog file on public_html folder?
