• Hello guys. I’m migrating some wordpress websites from my old VPS to a more powerful VPS.

Everything is working fine except for one wordpress site. Basically it’s a wordpress + woocommerce website. The frontend is working fine, but if I access the backend I only see the wordpress menu, all the rest of the page is just blank. It doesn’t matter if I open a plugin, a wordpress page or something else, all I get besides the menu is just a blank page. Honestly I have no idea what could be the issue here. I don’t think it’s some misconfigurations in my VPS, because every other wordpress site is working fine. I don’t know. It’s possible that woocommerce it’s not compatible with PHP 7.2? If it’s compatible I have no idea what could be the issue here, any idea please? Thank you

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As I said, I get blank pages, I can’t disable/install plugins or themes because just doesn’t appear in the page when I click these pages in the menu

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

It’s Woocommerce. If I rename the Woocommerce plugin the dashboard works again, like the rest of the backend. But I can’t get rid of Woocommerce because my website is a store. So what should I do?

    I agree.

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Have you set the value for WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php file to true? That will show you what the error actually is, and you’ll be able to see the problem, and figure out a fix.

And don’t forget to change it back to false when you’re done!
