Blank Bars where Categories Were

    I was experimenting with categories on my new site so I created three. Decided not to go that route right away and deleted all three categories.

    Now my site has three blank bars that I can’t seem to get rid of.

    I’m using the gazpo SilverOrchid theme.

    Any ideas? Thank you!

  • Check under WP-Admin > Appearance > Theme Settings or wherever the options are for that theme. It is trying to create a carousel using categories…you should be able to disable that or change the configuration.

    Sorry, I haven’t used the theme so I can’t give specific instructions.

    Shazam, Shaun — thank you! I had originally checked that all my categories were set to “uncategorized” — and they were .. but I toggled them between “uncategorized” and “none” and then back to uncategorized again and hit save. Seemed to work.
