Client report me that on woocommerce wordpress when he remove one item from shopping cart, all items disapear and apear on hard refresh (f5) I thought it was plugin/theme/website issue so i said to check, then he bought web hosting to another hosting company and show me that there it works.
So i do the same thing, install on domain on my server and install on another hosting, there is working on my server doesn’t.
So i from litespeed switch to apache, the same behavier happen, then i turn off ALL modsecurity imunify and owasp. Still the same. So i changed PHP again the same. I turn off CSF firewall still the same. Only thing that i can not turn off is cloudlinux.
Also i allowed all PHP funciontions in php.ini to check maybe something block but no, the same happan all again.

There are no errors on page/plugin. I install clean wordpress only with woocommerce and still have the same.
I tried this one on another servers that i have on 3 from 7 that i have. And on all 3 happen the same.

So this is something on server that block but i can not find what and why.

From what I gather, the cart page turns blank/empty when an item is removed from those in the cart. Correct?

To help you further, I’d like to understand more about your setup.

Could you please send me a copy of one of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com/ and feel free to change/remove your site URL in the report for privacy reasons.

You can paste the Gist link here in your reply, once you have that.

    Yes, please check this video

    Github Gist

    What i tried so far:
    – switch to apache webserver from LiteSpeed (even this is test website and litespeed plugin has never been installed)
    – change PHP version
    – enable all disabled php functions (i have root access)
    – switch to another theme even is default wp theme (clean installation wp and woocommerce without any other plugin)
    – installation is done manually
    – turn off modsecurity and imunify360 security
    – clear redis cache (even any cache is not done on website by plugins)
    – turn off CSF
    – try reinstall wordpress and woocommerce
    – try download from wp.org woocommerce then upload in plugins folder

    How to reproduce error:
    1. add multiple products to cart
    2. go to domain/cart/
    3. remove one product

this issue apear on this test url

    Hi @djrodjeb

Thanks for providing detailed information about your issue here. I was able to reproduce it using the test site you provided.

I did some research and found the steps in this article could be a good starting point: WooCommerce: How to Fix the “Cart is Empty” Issue

Meanwhile, if you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Let us know how it goes!

    (@djrodjeb)

If that easy i wound’t even open topic here. I research issue on google before i wrote here, and i am experienced with PHP. If there are fatal error then it would be simple solution.
There is no error at all and no cache is involved here, and as i said before, this is clean installation so there is no other themes, plugins or custom code.
I can give you access if you want. I can even open hosting account for you to install and test.

    Hi there @djrodjeb

Thank you for reaching back, with further information on this.

I tried reproducing this, with a test installation (linked here), to no avail. Kindly note, since this is a public forum, sharing login credentials is not permitted.

My suggestion would be to make sure the site’s PHP time limit is set to at least 300, PHP Post Max is at least 1000 and the WP Memory limit is 256 MB or more.

I trust that points you in the right direction; let us know how it goes.

I know it is public forum. Can you give me email or link so i can create ticket to give you login data?
I have multiple servers, i tested on 5 of them, and on 3 of them i have the same issue, on 2 of them i do not have this issue.
All of them have the same configuration. cPanel, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux. cPanel say it is up to woocommerce, LiteSpeed say it is not up to them because the issue is still there even when i turn off litespeed, cloudlinux is not related question with thair product.

Yes, but I’m saying it as a forum moderator…. just wanted to hammer home the point, not so much to correct you as to forewarn the next person who might offer creds. Anyhow, we’re cool.

    Hi @djrodjeb ,

I understand that you have done a fresh install of both WordPress and WooCommerce, as well as a full conflict test, with no success in the issue being eliminated.

Hello i have strange error on websites. Client report me that on woocommerce wordpress when he remove one item from shopping cart, all items disapear and apear on hard refresh (f5)

Since refreshing the page results in the cart displaying the items again, it is possible that caching may still be in play here.

    – clear redis cache (even any cache is not done on website by plugins)

This issue could more than likely be originating from the object-cache.php. Object caching involves storing database queries and it could be the possible cause of this.

I understand that disabling the Redis object cache plugin has made no difference, so as a next step, you can try accessing your FTP or cPanel and locate the?wp-content?folder, and check if there is?object-cache.php.

If so, please try renaming this and then check if the issue is still present.

Note: Please make a full backup of your site and database before making any changes to the WordPress installation files, so that you can install a backup should anything go wrong.

Please let us know how this goes!

    Thread Starter DjrodjeB

    (@djrodjeb)

as i said at biggining there is no object-cache.php since there is not installed any plugin besde woocommerce, it is clean installation on new hosting accunt and there is nothing else on it.
I preform this on 5 servers and on three of them i have this issue on two of them i do no have
all 5 servers have he same server configuration and he same software installed

    Hi @djrodjeb

I preform this on 5 servers and on three of them i have this issue on two of them i do no have
all 5 servers have he same server configuration and he same software installed

Just to clarify, are they all with the same hosting service/company?

Also, how possible is it that a service, like Cloudflare, is activated on them? I tried opening up the test domain you shared, here, and it was not available, for being possible to investigate further.

I tried this one on another servers that i have on 3 from 7 that i have. And on all 3 happen the same.

I’d also like to loop back to this for a moment. Could you try replicating the issue on a local environment, with a tool like Local or DevKinsta, and see if it persists, please?

That should help further isolate the server configuration that produces the issue, since the one thing that is for sure is that it cannot be replicated every single time.

Let us know how that goes, thank you.

that are my servers as i told on the beggining also there is no cache involved at any kind as i said before
why to replicate to local when somewhere working somewhere do not? to find more places where working and where not working? i tested on 5 servers i thing that is good number for testing.

    (@gabrielfuentes)

Hi there! Thanks for all the testing you have done so far.

Despite my efforts, I have been unable to replicate this on three different servers from different hosting companies.

According to your previous messages, you conducted a test on five different servers and were unable to reproduce this behavior on two of them. Therefore, there is a possibility that the servers are different, probably just a single value. If they were the same, the issue would occur on all five.

Considering this, please provide us with two System Status Reports, one for the server on which the issue persists and another for the server where the issue is resolved.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
