    Hai.
Just a little question. I would like to install Google Site Kit but I can’t . After activation, my dashboard (blank page) is not displayed on the site and I can’t start the setup.
I see an error in the console
    https://pastebin.com/2EFUvsx9
It shows up even if I disable all plugins.
But on another site on the same server it’s no problem.
As a security plugin I have iThemes and MalCare Pro

  • Hello @perteus ,

Thanks for reaching out to Site Kit support team & sharing error log with this.

Can you please apply basic troubleshooting steps:

    1. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    2. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    3. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
    4. Attempt to setup Site Kit once more

You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.

If you are unable to setup Site Kit in troubleshooting mode then feel free to share Site Health information via form privately so we can inspect your setup.

I have submitted the bug on Site Kit repo as well for further investigation.

    Best Regards,

Thank you for the message. However, the procedure did not help. I have sent the necessary data to the form. I think there may be a problem in the security plugin settings but I have no idea where and what.

    Hello @perteus ,

Thanks for sharing Site Health information.

    1. I have inspected the site you shared & it has few errors in the browser console. Can you please ask your developer to fix those errors first?

    2. Based on your Site Health information I can see few plugins related to Cache & Security. Can you disable those plugins specifically Security by CleanTalk & then try to setup Site Kit?

    3. You also mentioned, Site Kit works fine on other three websites at the same server. Does those websites have same plugins & theme?

    Best Regards,

@perteus Checking in here –?are you still having issues with Site Kit setup? Thank you!

Thank you very much for sending me your advice. It wasn’t exactly the right thing to do, but thanks to this I was able to discover the cause of the problem.

The whole problem was caused by the PublishPress Capabilities plugin. I did a reset of the plugin settings to wordpress defaults and everything is ok.

@perteus Glad to hear you were able to find the problem! Please do feel free to leave a review – we’d love to hear your feedback on the plugin.
