    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? => I don’t know, sorry!
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF? => Yes.

Additional information that will help us find a solution:
    – Who are you hosted with? => Aruba
    – What theme are you running? => The default administration theme
    – Which plugins do you have installed and activated? => I deactivated all the plugins, but nothing happened.

@daredevil73 – Try setting your WordPress Permalinks to something other than the “Default” … we often suggest “Post name” or “Month name” as alternatives.

This is a known issue with some web hosts, Aruba.it is one of them unfortunately.

Thank you very much for your support.

I applyed what you suggested me, and now the configuration panel shows the display type options.

So I tried to add a gallery to a test page, but when I press the add button it takes a long time to show, and when done then display type selector is empty!

Could you help me please? I tried several other galleries, but I think this is the best on the web.

What else information can I provide you? Do you need an account to logon into my site and check yourself the issue?

    Thank you again,
    Antonio

@daredevil73 – Did you re-check for plugin conflicts after changing the Permalinks structure?

How can I accomplish this re-check?

I tried to reinstall it too…

    Thank you.

@daredevil73 – Try this codex article for ways to troubleshoot plugin issues https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Managing_Plugins#Troubleshooting

See if those steps help to sort this out.

    Thanks!

    Morning Sir :

    1. I re-installed my web site from scratch
    2. I added the NGG plugin
    3. I set permlink to NUMERIC
    4. I activated NGG
    5. => The configuration panel shows the display type!
    6. I opened the default WP welcome page for editing
    7. I clicked on the NGG gallery add button
    8. => the dialog takes a lot of time to open, and then it doesn’t show any gallery!

Unfortunately NGG on WP 4.0 hosted by Aruba is absolutely not working!

Is it a way to diagnose the issue? I need this plugin! Do you want an account to check it by yourself?

    Thank you very much,
    Antonio
