Blank everything

    My site is gone. Poof! I try index.php, wp-admin, all are blank. I uploaded all new files (for my version) but no change.

    wp-login.php source code is correct. But page source code in Firefox is a greyed out 1. Index.php is 1 return 2

    It seems SOMETHING is getting in-between. .htaccess is fine. Weird huh?! Is there another file I need to check, or is something else wrong?

  • Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Your hosts should be able to help you accessing your site’s error logs.

    I can access them. Each login from me or exploiters is the same

    So I need to disable the plugin or fix it. Which would you suggest, and how? Strange how it changed chmod on its own. As I type this I’m going to rename the plugin to get in.

    Db updated and I’m in. Thank you! With my amnesia I forgot to check error logs. Still makes me wonder how the chmod changed. I’ll go find another backup plugin

    Years ago I helped write plugins and a couple were on this site. Now due to illness I have no memory. Error logs are what I generally check ….
