    Hi guys

I’m exporting submissions and fairly certain I’ve updated Forminator since I created my original test form.
My issue is that the csv submission export doesn’t contain ‘blanks’ for empty fields in the form which means that when I open it in Excel, none of the data is in the correct columns where fields have been left blank.

    Any ideas please?
    Many thanks
    Steve

    Hi @huskyracer,

I hope you are doing well today!

1- Open blank excel sheet or any sheet you want to add the data, go to Data->From Text/CSV

2- Choose the Forminator CSV export file and import
3- Click Load and import values as columns including the blank submissions

    4- Result – https://prnt.sc/GO0LiKGQj5zu

    Hi there,

I’m experiencing this bug as well. When you have a field as optional (e. g. you don’t show it if a certain drop down value is selected), the export does not insert a “,” for this empty field.

    Example:
    Title (Mr,Ms,Family)
Firstname (this is only shown in case of Mr or Ms)
    Lastname

    Export (today, wrong):
    Mr,John,Smith
    Ms,Kate,Hudson
    Family,Mayer

    Correct would be:
    Family,,Mayer

    Hi @huskyracer,

    @xampit

Sorry for the inconvenience caused because of this. It is a known bug that our developers are already aware of and are currently working on a fix.

As a quick workaround, we recommend reverting the plugin version to 1.18.2.

You can find the previous version via the following URL under “Previous Versions”:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/forminator/advanced/

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

Yep, saw this “fix” in another thread. 1.18. is working as expected (expect of date including a “,” in language German which causes trouble with the comma separation, but that’s addressed in another thread as well).

Thank you for the good work anyways ?? Apart from the bugs I really like your plugin.

I’ve just done the rollback and it works a dream.
Thank you so much for your help guys and also @xampit for contributing as well.

    Great work guys!

    Hello !

I have the same issue here but I can’t rollback as I’ve used a lot of group field, witch arent included in the 1.18 version.

Can I expect you guys to resolve this soon ?

    Thank you !

    Hi @anthonyflibustiers

The fix is already being tested and if it passes tests it’s expected to be included in version 1.22 release.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
