• Every time I upload an image to my site’s Media (On the dashboard) or directly to a page or post, the image is blank. What could be the problem? This issue started 2 weeks ago and it is common in two of my websites (The main site and a subdomain). Please help.

Does the image upload? If you look in wp-content/uploads/whatever, is the file there? If so, are the derivative images (e.g., image-150×150.jpg) there, too?

Hi Steve, Yes the images uploads but it is blank!

I do get the image details like the following

    File name: backpackers-Den-Logo.png
    File type: image/png
    Uploaded on: July 17, 2018
    File size: 78 KB
    Dimensions: 600 × 284

One thing different from the other images (The ones that are visible) is the part where it says Uploaded to

For this new image, that part is not there but for the other, I have like “Uploaded To How to Overcome Common Travel Worries”

A couple of things to check… Let’s start with the basics:

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Came here looking for a solution, but managed to find an answer before finding anything on the forum. I was having the same issue. Check your image DPI settings, my images were 150dpi and was causing the same issue, ensure they’re 72 and you should be all good!

FYI, changing the dpi to 72 did not solve the problem for me. Eventually I had to return to the original stock photo, and recreate the edits without ever using Photoshop. It then worked just fine. In my case, I had success using paint.net on windows. It would be interesting to see if others are having an issue with Photoshop-edited images specifically.
