    Hi @regman,

    Thank you for your message.

From what I can see you are using the Jetpack plugin and your images are on the i0.wp.com server. Additionally, they have $_GET parameters that support changing image parameters.

Unfortunately, in this situation, the plugin will not work because the files must be on the same server as WordPress. Try not to use a lot of website optimization plugins, as they are often mutually exclusive.

Please see the plugin FAQ, especially the question “Does plugin support CDN?”.

Like man, all my images on my site, they are delivered to site users in a .gif format and all the alt text are gone.

Also the images show black or they just go blank white. i tried right clicking the blank space to download the images, now, all images are delivered to me in an index.gif

How to disable the plugin, everything works fine?

I have even disabled plugin, cleared cache, I even went as far as regenerating thumbnails, yet no solution. I use Nginx

Hello man, I got it fixed by restoring the backup I made, now I will be very careful, because the last time I selected it to also covert my /themes and /plugins folder alongside the /uploads

Also advice to anyone and everyone seeing this??????, always create a backup before messing around with stuffs like this. Only God knew my fate if I didn’t have a backup. I feel u should create an update for this plugin to notify people to backup their sites before making any actions to avoid unecessary compalints.

I’m glad that the problem was solved. I also recommend that you read the plugin FAQ and technical requirements before installing the plugin.

The plugin is used by many people and this is the first problem of this type. As for the backup, I think it is self-evident and every website administrator should keep this in mind.

The plugin does not modify the original files. What happened probably has to do with other plugins you use. The plugin deletes everything after itself when uninstalling.

Additionally, there is a cache on the server and therefore there were still problems after uninstalling the plugin.

Hmmm, okay guys spoiler, the main thing affecting me was jetpack, cos as i re-installed jetpack, the blank images came again??????…..enabling site accelerator.. that’s what actually messed me up. Am gonna try this again without jetpack and give my review

UPDATE: I regenerated and converted all images to .webp format safely without any image having an issue or turning blank, the issue was JETPACK after enabling site accelerator. Thanks to you all, kudos
