Blank Insertion Pop-up

After researching the subject several days, I’m confirming the bug is about WordPress itself not the plugin.

The problem is not ‘Google – searchable’ since the bug is mentioned using images.

Version 1.9.33 (not yet released) already addressed this issue, however it also brought to the light Nextcellent is using an older version of tinyMCE popup which it will need to be updated in the near future.

For the moment, 1.9.33 will try fixing all the things 1.9.32 went down due security improvements.

What is odd,since I’m trying independently to resolve it, is that NextGen’s pop-up works. Not being a programmer, so doing everything the hard way, this seems to indicate that they are using their own pop-up not based on tinyMCE.

I’ll add, gratuitously, that I despise NextGen’s popup. Far more complicated than needed, and nothing that I need in plain sight. And when selecting a Gallery to insert, it displays in chrono order, so the first choice is a gallery I made 7 years ago.

They are bunch of car salesmen over there.

Insertion pop-up still blank after recent WP update wiped my edits. I’ll go back and edit them again now that I know 33 hasn’t addressed that.

FWIW, this issue is still there for me on a multisite install where 1.9.33 has fixed 2 other major issues I was having with cropping thumbnails and saving description and alt text depending on version used and context.

But the Nextcellent button in the page/post editor still brings up a blank window here.

To clear things out, version 1.9.34 (to be released within hours) works fine on WP 4.8.2
But again, the window blank is caused due a tinymce code change.

So my best suggestions would be update to 1.9.34 and also make sure WP 4.8.2 is installed.

As I posted on the other blank thread, the Insert button does not work now for me.

I updated to 1.9.34 and the site was already on WP 4.8.2.

There is progress as now, after pressing the Nexcellent button in the TinyMCE editor, the UI actually shows in the modal popup when it was blank before.

But after selecting the Gallery option and selecting a specific gallery to add, the actual Insert button does nothing. The modal window stays open and no shotcode gets inserted. The Cancel button does work though.
