Blank link is rendering as a link

  • Description:
    Even if the ‘URL’ and ‘link target’ settings are blank, the plugin creates an empty link on the image

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Login to WP admin dashboard
    2. Install “Image Over Image – VC Extension” plugin
    3. View “all pages”, select one page to edit and click “Edit with WPBakery Page Builder”
    4. Click on the + button at the top and select “Image over Image”
    5. Set your two images
    6. Click “save changes” button
    7. Preview the page

    Expected result: the first image is overlaid by the second image and there is no link and the cursor does not change into a hand

    Actual result: the first image is overlaid by the second image and there is a link and the cursor hand does change into a hand.

    Version info:
    – WordPress 5.2.3 running TheGem theme.
    – Image Over Image – VC Extension – Version 1.0

    Browsers:
    – Chrome Version 70.0.3538.77 (Official Build) (64-bit)
    – Firefox 68.0.2
