• I’m not sure when this started, but I noticed the header on my blog (with the Catch Box theme, fully updated) was posting the header twice. When I went in to edit it, the preview/edit window does not display anything.

    I have:
    1) tried on Firefox and Chrome.
    2) cleared browser cache
    3) deactivated all apps (and changed the mu-plugins folder name)
    4) tried installing Twenty Sixteen and activating it

Nothing has resolved the display issue. I have a left-side menu with a widget menu box and the different format tabs at the bottom, but nothing in the preview window.

  • What version of WordPress are you using? Moreover, did you try disabling ALL plugins AND switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme at the same time? That would mean, essentially, you’re testing a box stock version of WordPress.

I’m running WP 4.5.1. I currently have all plugins deactivated and have Twenty Sixteen activated.

Yikes! So, you’re having this issue on a default install of WordPress. Hmm, has this issue always been reproducible? I am wondering if it’s your particular version of WordPress. For example, was the issue reproducible when using WordPress 4.5 or earlier? Oh, and have you tried to reinstalling WordPress? If not, have a look here:

    Hope this helps!

P.S., You might also want to let your hosting service know what’s going on just in case there’s some known incompatibility between them and your version of WordPress.
