Blank page after auto upgrade to 2.9.2

    After having upgraded to 2.9.2 through the admin interface (automatic update), all is now a plank page (blog & admin) – no HTML at all in the source code. I’ve tried to turn off all plugins, rename the theme directory, replacing the .htaccess file without any avail. Please advise.

    YES!! Same problem here. Why do WP keeps updating so often nowadays and could NOT solve and test the software thoughoutly before releasing to the public???!!! It gives us so many problems trying to get WP running smoothly in the long run. Sigh…this is pathetic!

    I’ve even tried to download 2.9.2 and do a manual install. Still nothing. I’m not sure if I can “downgrade” to the previous version, but perhaps that’s what’s necessary? Or could it be, that I don’t have any MySQL connection? Will this render all pages white? Anyone having any experience in this? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Downgraded to 2.9.1. Nothing. I’m getting fairly desperate here. Janasoul – do you have MediaTemple as your host?

    Problem resolved. Used WP Super cache. Deleted all cache files (“advanced-cache.php”, “wp-cache-config.php” + “cache” folder @ /wp-content). All ok. Janasoul, if you use any cahce, delete it. It obviously doesn’t work just by removing the plugin.

    I have problem!
    I have a blog width wordpress (https://www.biancazzurra.it/) where i tried to upgrade 2.9.2 release from 2.8.4 release.
    i click on button “upgrade 2.9.2 release” into my admin area but now it doesn’t go, i don’t see nothing and error is:

    “Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”
    How can I fix the problem? i’m desperate. Can you help me!
    I’d be happy if I could return to the previous release (2.8.4)
