Blank page after the 3.9.0 version

Hi,

Does this problem persist with Gutenberg 4.1.1 as well? (we had a quick bugfix release, so Id like to make sure)?

If it does, would you be able to check i there’s any JavaScript errors reported (if you’re unfamiliar with how, the 2nd paragraph at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/known-compatibility-issues-common-questions-and-how-to-report-bugs/#gutenberg-getting-support covers JavaScript debugging)?

Thanks to you, I’ve discovered the “Health Check & Troubleshooting” plugin.
The issue seems to be connected to my theme : Valenti (and not the installed plugins). So I will send a message to the author.

I’m afraid they won’t fix it, because Valenti Theme was no longer updated for 1 year. ??
But I wonder why Gutenberg worked with 3.9.0, and not anymore.

I’m having the same issue. I used Health Check and it’s not my theme, it’s Gutenberg. When Gutenberg is not enabled, adding new pages or editing posts is fine. Quick, responsive, and as it should be. As soon as I enable Gutenberg, I get a blank page whenever I try to add a new post or page, or edit existing posts or pages.

Try this : update Gutenberg to the newest version, and when you’ve got a blank page, hit “Ctrl + F5” (to flush the cache).
It worked for me. So none of my plugins or my theme was the source of the issue.

Same over here. Things went OK, but this morning suddenly the publishing of a new post was leading to a blank page. I’m using 4.1.1 – which was reinstalled today!
Looking at the coding the page was far from empty, but it simply does not show.

Workaround is creating and editing posts form the management console choosing the classic editor.
Very funny side effect: the Gutenberg page in the dashboard itself presents an empty page!
