blank page after trying to activate Agama Blue

    Hi,

    Want to build a new website in Agama Blue (I did it before), but when I try to change the default theme into AB, the site went down into a totaly blank page.
    given the error;
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /var/www/vhosts/dansdrift.nl/httpdocs/ddcms/wp-content/themes/agama/framework/admin/modules/icon-picker/icon-picker-control.php on line 13

    I’m using the latest as I just uploaded WP and Agama Blue,

    Is there someone who can help me debugging?

  • Hello @d000drift,

    I’m 80% sure that you are using old PHP version, maybe below PHP 5.6 so this could easily cause above stated error.

    Please check what is your hosting PHP version and ask your web hosting company to switch it to PHP 7.

    I’ll contact my web hosting compagny with this. Hope it can solve the problem.
    Have several WPsites running with this host without any problems.

    Believe me… i had already same cases like yours and every time it was old PHP version issue.

    Everything rust fine after the update and setting to PHP 5.6 .
