Blank page on private profile

The blank page suggests that there is a PHP error happening. Is this a new or existing site? Can you check the error logs on the server to see what is listed after you get the blank page?

Another option is setting the debug option to true in the wp-config.php file.

Getting the error that shows will be integral in helping resolve the issue.

I don’t get any error. Only the blank page with #454545 background on body( I’m not finding it on my theme) and nothing on the content area.

Don’t know if thid could be involved in the issue, I’m ussing my WP install in a separate folder from my site adress.

What is the URL of the blank page? It should be redirecting you to the registration page. If you don’t have a registration page set that could be the issue. Do you have a link to a private profile I could review?

In reviewing the page source the content of the page is all there, I’m not sure why it isn’t showing. Do you have the account set to “Just Friends”?

It also looks like you have some kind of caching on. If you do deactivate that and see if that resolves the issue. Also try and disable any plugins you can to see if that helps. If it does turn them on one by one until you see the issue again. Then let me know what plugin that is so I can test it.

Deactivated all the plugins minus buddypress and your plugin. And it worked fine. Started to reactivate others and the conflicting plugin is wpgeodirectory wich is also the scope of my site.

Don’t know what I can do. ??

With that I can see what the conflict is on my end by installing that plugin. It’s in my best interest that the plugin works with as many others as possible. I’m hoping this weekend I can install that plugin and review what the issue is. If I can fix it on my end I will.

I’m going to mark this as resolved but will reply here when/if I find an answer or way to resolve the issue.

Thanks and hope to hear from you. This plugin is awesome for what it does but that conflict it makes it unusable for me.

I reviewed the issue and realized that there was a conflict in one of the CSS classes used by that plugin. The name I was using was too generic so I updated it on my end.

I believe the plugin will work for you now. You can download a new version from the repository. Can you check and let me know what the results are?

Thank you. Unfortunatelly it still dowesn’t work.

On a profile if I set “only registered users”, viewing it gives me page not found because my register page is named different.

If I set only friends I get the same blank screen as before with the adress https://mysite.info/members/member/profile-privacy/hidden/ and “page not found” in my browser tab. ??

To be clear you are now using version 0.7.4 right? Also, can you turn it back on so I can check out the profile link you provided me with earlier? The URL when it’s hidden should not be ending in “/hidden” now.

After your response found out that the plugin is actually working now. I have it enabled. Profiles without /hidden/ in the url deliver what they should.

Unfortunatelly when I visit a hidden profile, to the normal URL, “/hidden” is added.

Can you hide the following profile so that I can review what is happening. On my end when I set something to friends only I do not get redirected to /hidden.

That profile looks hidden on my end. But you can check here, on a dummy WP install. I get the same adresses, with “/hidden” https://goo.gl/94M8M2

I pushed an update that I believe will resolve your issue. Update to version 0.7.5 and let me know how it goes.

Also, can you tell me what version of WordPress and BuddyPress you are running?
