    Hi @wpforosupport,
    If the registration is with email confirmation, the Custom Redirection URLs after following actions for registration cannot redirect to the set page, as the user need to confirm his email and set a new password for the account.

    But if the user sets his account password in the reg field, he won’t need to confirm his email, so after pressing register button, the user will finish the registration and will be redirected to the page set in Custom Redirection URLs after following actions field.

    Thanks, but will this second option not invite even more spam registrations? I have about 25 new user registration requests for the forum in my inbox today.

    I have Google reCAPTCHA version2 Checkbox enabled, I had Anti-Spam by CleanTalk installed, but since those registrations were still flooding my inbox, I have deactivated this one and installed Antispam Bee and WP Armour – Honeypot Anti Spam.

    I have read this post: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/how-to-stop-spam/

    I doubt that wpforo itself receives as many spam emails as I do, so I would be happy to know what else could be done to reduce the amount of spam user registrations on my forum.

    Does anyone have some feedback on this?

    @gvectorsdevs,

    How can I change the current email confirmation message that new users get when registering on my wpforo, which currently only says: Username: TEST To set your password, visit the following address: https:xxxxxx

    Hi @janiwalkabout,
    About spam, This is a quote mentioned in the FAQ topic:

    Human spam cannot be stopped. You can stop only robot spam.

    Please remember, not all spams are robots. So you’ll still have 1-5 spam registered users per day even if you use all antispam solutions around the world. Because those solutions are made to detect robots. Human spam cannot be 100% stopped. There are lots of people who earn money for manual registration in forums and for posting spam content. So if you have less than 5 spam users posts per day, it means your forum is protected very well! 99% of bot spams are already stopped. You only have a human spam. These guys are real human, they register as other real members of your forum. So the antispam solutions have no any chance to stop them.

    About Registration Email:
    Go to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Email Tab and check New User Registration Email for user option.

    @janiwalkabout,
    Please Note: if you have other questions about wpForo not related to the current topic question, please create a new topic.

    @gvectorsdevs,

    I will do so. Regarding Registration Email: The New User Registration Email is set to overwrite the standard WordPress Registration email, but the content that is in there (set up as I wish), is not the content that is contained in the actual email that the user receives.

    Is there another setting that I forgot to check perhaps?

    please double-check that you have saved the changes with the Update Option button.

    Thank you but the text has been entered many months ago already. Updating is not the issue. You can do a test registration here: https://iactm.org/tctn-forum/

    @janiwalkabout,
    I guess you have a plugin which conflict with wpForo, Please try to disable your plugins and check the email workability again.

    Hello @janiwalkabout,

    We tested the compatibility of the CleanTalk Anti-spam plugin with wpForo – the protection works well.
