    Hello @nicoladefazio,

    Thanks for your message.

    Probably some error occurred while updating the plugin. Upgrade from 5.2.3 to 5.2.4 which could cause you this problem. I suggest you remove the plugin and install the latest version again.

    Best,
    Mateusz

    Hello ??
    I have completely removed the plugin and installed the latest version available. but when I try to activate it, it cannot be activated because it generates a fatal error.

    @nicoladefazio Thank you very much – I thought the problem is with the OP Cache, which happens during the upgrade. But I was wrong – I think I know what’s going on. You are using WordPress older than 5.3, right?

    In version 5.2.4, I added a feature that is only available from this version of WordPress. I made a change that will also support older versions of WordPress. You can download this version here right now:
    https://mattplugins.com/files/webp-converter-for-media-5.2.5-beta1.zip

    Does this version work for you?

    @mateuszgbiorczyk yes: it works!

    Thank you so much
