Blank page while installing wordpress at step 2 and not able to log in

  • Hello,
    While installing wordpress i am getting a blank page with just a wordpress logo in step 2, the url of that page is wp-admin/install.php?step=2
    when i checked the database all the tables were created but i was not able to log in.
    I searched the forum found same issue questions no answer.
    Please help.

  • Where are you installing … local or remote?

    You say just the WP logo … no “All right sparky! etc…” with a Run the install button?

    I am installing local on windows 8 using wamp.
    Yes only the WP logo and no “All right sparky! etc…” with a Run the install button

    Hmm, haven’t tried WAMP on Win 8, but I have successfully used The Uniform Server and installed WP and other scripts.
