Blank page while updating.

    Hi all.
    Every time I try to update a plug-in, theme or wordpress itself i get a blank page and nothing happens.
    The page is completely blank and in my browser’s bar it says:
    https://nika2.com/wp-admin/update-core.php?action=do-core-upgrade
    (this is when i try to update to 4.4.2)
    The only way to change themes for example is to manually install it in my file manager on the server. It has been a while since the last time i even logged in that site, so it is not something that happened cuz i recently updated or installed a plug-in. I honestly have no idea what to do. (When I make a new WP installation on the same server there is no problem. But when I use WP clone and copy my actual site on the fresh install the same problem occurs).
    I would really need a hand here, cuz this is starting to annoy me a lot.
    I’m using Responsive theme (with a child theme), 4.1.10 WP, the site is nika2.com
    Please, help me.

    Have you tried manually updating WordPress? The codex provides a few guides on how to manually update:

    Thank you for the response.
    I will try those steps later, cuz for some reason none of the sites that are on my hosting acc want to open. And I have no idea why. I will have to contact my provider first.

    Well, what can I say. I tried the manual update and I destroyed everything :D. When i was about to delete the entire site and start over i saw an option to update from the Cpanel. It fixed my site, and now updates are working.
    Jose thank you for the response. Even tho I didn’t use it properly, it helped me find the fix :D.
