    Hi,

Could you try a couple of things for me?

    1. Check your server’s PHP error logs (your hosting provider can let you know where they are stored for your site) and let me know any errors mentioned there.

    2. Can you try with all plugins disabled? Are things still broken?

    Thanks!

    Hi Quolis,

You can and instructions are at the end of the message. Can you check your server’s PHP error logs and send me the errors indicated? 500 errors should be recorded in the PHP error logs and can help us determine what is wrong. It could be a bug that we need to fix, it could be your server failed during the upgrade so some files were never installed, etc.

That would greatly help to ensure we can fix the problem and, if it is a bug on our end, help others who are seeing this but haven’t reached out for help.

To rollback, completely delete Jetpack from your site and then download 3.0.2 via this link: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/jetpack.3.0.2.zip
Then upload it to your site via Plugins->Add New->Upload.

    Cheers!

    Hi Steve,

The problem is with the jetpack plugin, after I deactivate it, https://fathersunionaustralia.com/wp/2013/04/21/behind-121-fla-the-australian-family-court-child-exploitation-and-abuse-industry/ is able to browse.

There is no log shown during jetpack causing it blank in grey. I have checked apache log, the error is few hours ago which unrelated to this. It is more possible that the jetpack plugin need other special requirements or it was conflict with either of your other plugins.

If you have any enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank You!

Jetpack 3.1.1 should resolve this issue and will be out in the next couple of days, assuming the problem is what I think it is. On a different server, I was able to duplicate with errors being reported due to PHP crashing.

Thanks for the help and sorry for the hassle. Cheers!

    Hi quolls,

The error I fixed in the upcoming 3.1.1 related to the [youtube] shortcodes on that page. There was a function that was being expected to output certain variables that wasn’t outputting them, and another was balking at that.

On most servers, a non-critical “notice” is being returned. On a few, the servers are either producing a “fatal” error or crashing outright by this. My theory is any post that had the youtube shortcode would be causing a problem with Jetpack enabled (at 3.1) on your site.
