• Guys, I have seen others will similar problems, but can’t seem to figure it out. I upgraded automatically and everything seemed to go fine.

When I go to click on my pages, all I get is a blank page. The front page of my blog works just fine, but click on “to read the rest of this story” or if you click on the topic, it goes to a blank page.

I tried to change the permalinks to another format and it just gives me the 404 error message.

If I leave the permalinks as they were, i get just blank pages.

    HELP!

  • First thing to try is to rename your plugins folder to see if one is causing problems.

If that doesn’t work, can you get into your dashboard? Any other errors? Blog address?

    Thanks for the quick response.

My dashboard works fine. The only problem I am having is the blank pages, everything else seems fine.

I just tried to rename my plugin folder and still blank pages.

    my website is https://www.thesnobmag.com

If you try to click on one of the BLUE topics or the “read the rest of this story” it just takes you to a blank page.

I have the same issue as you jeffreytgomez

EDIT: I believe it is a plugin. I just upgrade another 2.7 blog and it worked successfully.

Hm… Could you post your .htaccess file?

I can’t see my .htaccess file? Where is it? I am using filezilla as my ftp and am using yahoo hosting and can’t see the file.

I used to upgrade manually and remember the file, but can’t seem to find it.

It should be in your root or in the blog folder. You may also be able to see it inside the Dashboard under: Settings/Permalinks

I don’t see it. Maybe that’s the problem! Checked inside filezilla, checked in my yahoo management page too. Do not see the file.

When I go into my dashboard/permalinks it just gives me the same options as usual for setting the permalinks.

I am and have been using the default setting of:

    https://thesnobmag.com/?p=123

    for my permalinks.

I think I may have found the problem?!

When I go to dashboard/wp-cache manager, I get this message:

    WP-Cache Manager Main options
    advanced-cache.php link does not exist
    Create it by executing:
    ln -s /blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php /blog/wp-content/advanced-cache.php
    in your server

Cannot continue… fix previous problems and retry.

Not sure what to do about it?!
