Blank pages on dashboard

  • I have two wordpress websites which have now changed as I think they have been auto upgraded to 3.7. I can login to admin but the dashboard only shows the menu down the left hand side but the pages are blank. Can you please advise how I can revert back to 3.5.1 or fix the current problem I am having?

  • I think they have been auto upgraded to 3.7

    Auto-upgrades for minor updates wasn’t introduced in WordPress until 3.7, so I think that’s unlikely.

    Did you try to upgrade from 3.5.1 to 3.9 in a single step? If so, did you make a pre-upgrade database backup?

    I did not upgrade the site, this was something auto done by wordpress. I recall getting an email from them and thought I had saved it to say that it had been done and if I wanted to revert it back it gave me a link. I did not respond to this email and thought I would check it if needed. now cannot find the email
